As an education professional, an Irvine resident, and a mother of two school-age children, I posses a unique perspective and experience to make a difference in the leadership and decision-making of the Irvine School Board.

My career has taken me into classrooms all over the Country which has allowed me to gain real-world knowledge of best practices and common hurdles faced by schools and districts, what works and what doesn’t.  We have incredible resources in Irvine, the City, UCI, IVC, and many other world-class educational institutions.  We all need to collaborate for the benefit of our students.

Our community is alarmed by what is happening in education today, with issues such as budget cuts and increased class size plaguing our schools. As my own children embark on their careers as students, I am committed to ensuring their School District does not fail them or compromise the quality of their education.

The classroom must come first.

Irvine is synonymous with a quality education. It is a matter of pride to our community. Let’s keep it this way.
